Happy to note I've released a small new program. It generates an RSS feed for a Flickr user's photostream or for your Flickr Friends & Family feed.

I needed this because:

As far as I know, Flickr does not actually offer an RSS feed for your friends and family.
Flickr's existing RSS feeds have useless clutter in them and are limited to very small photos. Take a look at this screenshot of the native Flickr RSS feed for my friend Peter:

Flickr's RSS feeds contain useless and repeated information, and the photo itself is tiny.

Compare to this screenshot from the feed generated by flickr-rss:

RSS feeds generated by my program contain only the photo and its description and use high-resolution images.

The program requires a Flickr API key and allows you to authenticate via OAuth for the friends & family feature.
